In fact, our valued supplier Polychem Corporation owns a recycling plant producing strapping with 100% recycled material by using PET bottles and other discarded polyester material. With their processes, they have the ability to produce a food grade pellet and sell it back to a PET bottle manufacturer to blow mold bottles again.
With continued advancement in the production of higher break strength polyester strapping we can meet the demands of 75% of the uses for steel strapping. In applications where very high break strengths are required, we can provide polyester cord strapping with break strengths up to 5000lbs.
